Description
A focused magnetic field from a strong magnet levitates a smaller magnet
Equipment
- Levitating magnet setup
- Strong magnet
- Small square magnet
- Small non-magnetic tool (like a plastic fork)
Instructions
- Place the strong magnet on the of plastic plate
- Insert the small the magnet between the to dark plates with the small plastic tool.
- Adjust the height and alignment of the strong magnet with the screws such that the small magnet levitate.
