Description
An inductance resists change in current therefore it has a very high resistance value in a circuit that just has switched on. A lamp in series with the inductance will initially receive no current while the lamp in parallel receives all the current.
Equipment
- Lights and big inductance setup
- DC power supply
Instructions
- Connect the setup to the power supply and set its voltage to 12 V.
- Flip the switch.
