Description
Two xylophone keys with slightly different frequencies (difference of 1 Hz) are struck and the beating between the two sounds is clearly heard.
Equipment
- two xylophone keys
- mallet
Instructions
Strike the first key and then the second shortly after. The difference in frequency of the two keys leads to a beating pattern you can hear.
