Description

Blowing across the lip of a glass coke or beer bottle partially filled with liquid creates a sound due to resonance within the bottle cavity.

Equipment

  • glass bottle
  • strong lungs

Instructions

Partially fill the bottle with water and gently blow across the lip of the bottle. The tone will depend on the size of the cavity within the bottle.
