Description

A freshly painted ball is dropped onto the center of a rotating platform covered by white paper. The ball's trail shows a curve from the center to the edge, demonstrating the coriolis effect.

Equipment

  • Rotating platform
  • Plastic ball
  • White newsprint paper
  • Black spraypaint

Instructions

Spraypaint the ball. Start rotating the platform then drop the ball onto the center of the platform.
