Description

A calibrated picket fence is dropped through a photogate to measure the acceleration due to gravity, g.

Equipment

  • Picket fence
  • Foam padding
  • Photogate attached to "A"-stand
  • Computer with Logger Pro interface

Instructions

Connect the photogate to the computer and launch the Logger Pro software. Collect data as you drop the picket fence through the arms of the photogate.
