Description
A series of attached metal rings representing a thin and long metal spring (radius ~5 cm) is used to demonstrate longitudinal oscillations.
Equipment

Instructions
Use small pulses by softly extending the metal tine at one end of the apparatus to create longitudinal oscillations in the system.
